CompuSensor Technology Corporation (CST) engages in the research and development of computational sensor, machine vision, image tracking, image exploitation, and other novel technologies. Our R&D team consists of highly qualified researchers and experts. They have published textbooks and numerous refereed papers, edited special issues for technical journals, awarded patents, participated in organizing international conferences in their own research areas.
Over 15 years, CompuSensor Technology Corporation has pursued innovative approaches based on key scientific findings from both psychophysics research and neurobiology research on human and animal vision systems, building advanced mathematical modeling and algorithms.
Through numerous contracts from Army, Air Force, Navy and NIMA/NGA, as well as contracts from commercial partners in defense and security industry, we have developed effective and sophisticated computer vision capability for Automatic Target Detection, Tracking and Recognition, developing advanced computational strategies for imagery exploitation and understanding even under conditions of severe geometric distortion, occlusion, shadow and temporary disappearance.
Our advanved computer vision capability has been applied on accurate geo-locations of ground targets based on airborne imagery, landmark recognition, ground target tracking, precision targeting using sensor imagery data, multiple ground target tracking, ground moving target indication and detection, ground target classification, accurate image registration, and so on.
